The ceilings in three of our rooms have recently received a special night sky design. Many major constellations are clearly visible; there are thousands of distant background stars, and the Milky Way is winding a path across the sky overhead. You can now enjoy searching out the constellations of the heavens or just drift off to sleep under the brilliant stars!!

Is a sitting room for our guests and contains a microwave, refrigerator stocked with bottled water and soft drinks for guest use, a toaster, mugs, tea, hot chocolate, games, puzzles, books, magazines, table and chairs, and a sofa bed.

Guest Information & Policies

• We are not able to provide accommodations for families with small children under the age of 5.  All rooms are designed to sleep two adults maximum. Please inquire concerning arrangements for older children.

• Additional persons staying in a guest room will be charged at a rate of $10 per day. We do not have roll-away cots.  Please discuss arrangements for extra persons with Judy.

• We maintain a strict no smoking policy for the comfort, safety, and well being of our guests.  Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house, on the deck, or outside near any open windows. Smoking is permitted only in outside areas well away from the windows or deck.  Any guest smoking inside the house will be charged a $500 cleaning fee and may be asked to leave the Manor.

• Check-in is 3-6 P.M.  Check-out is 11:00 A.M., unless prior arrangements have been made.

• Quiet hour- 10 p.m. and later - We do our best to provide a peaceful and quiet atmosphere for our guests to rest and relax.  If you are arriving later than 10 P.M. or returning late from an engagement, we ask you to enter the house quietly and be considerate of other guests who may be sleeping. Please keep TV volume low during late hours.

• Guest parking is provided on the concrete pad with two spaces near the guest entrance and one in the turn-around area. There is no parking in front of the garage door on the end of the house or on the grass. Additional parking is in the widened area of the driveway nearest the road.

• No pets of any kind are permitted. Dog kennels are less than a mile from our home.

• All bathrooms have exhaust fans, large fluffy towels, and instant hot, softened water. Please use exhaust fans to remove moisture from bath areas when showering.

• Iron and ironing board are available upon request.  Please do not iron on countertops, bed covers, towels, carpets, or other surfaces.  Guests will be charged the repair or replacement costs for any room items damaged by hot irons.

• Please use the luggage racks for all luggage and refrain from placing suitcases and similar items on bedspreads, quilts, and coverlets.

• Please apply spray products such as perfume, hair spray, deodorant, etc. in tiled bath areas, not in bedroom areas near carpets, curtains, and bed coverings.  Spray residues on fabric items can cause severe allergic reactions for future quests.

• Please do not use our light colored wash clothes and towels for the removal of make-up products. Please use facial tissues or the dark burgundy face cloths provided in the bath area. Make-up creates impossible stains and ruins bath linens.

• All rooms have ice buckets; ice is available on freezer door in kitchen. 

• Guests may use the deck at any time or hike on the property.  We have a small pond just a few minutes' hike through adjacent fields. Guests with NYS fishing licenses may fish for  largemouth bass in our pond.

• We can make reservations at local restaurants, set up tee times at local golf courses, and provide hunting or hiking guides.

• We will be glad to provide a suggested itinerary based on your indicated interests and time of visit.
